HSVP stands for Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran that was launched in the year 1977 by the Haryana Urban Development Authority Act.
It is a legal community that will plan developments of cities in Haryana. Before the launch of HSVP, Urban Estates Development carried out the development work of cities in Haryana.
HSVP was formed as Urban Estates Development was found incompetent and inefficient in achieving the planned development. Initially, this scheme was known as HUDA (Haryana Urban Development Authority) and was renamed as HSVP (Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran) in 2017.
With its headquartered in Panchkula, Haryana that will assist in development work, along with 12 wings under this statutory body. The whole state is divided into five zones – Panchkula, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Rohtak, and Hisar to carry development activities.
What Are The Objectives Of HSVP?
The HSVP was introduced to develop urban areas by acquiring and selling movable and immovable properties. The acquired land can be used for – residential, commercial, industrial and institutional purpose. It will provide affordable housing options to the weaker section of the society and Haryana Housing Board. Moreover, it also undertakes building work.
Eligibility Criteria To Apply For HSVP
- Should be a Domicile of Haryana
- Household income less than 3lakhs can apply
- No plot should be owned by the applicant in Haryana
- Group D employee of Haryana government can apply to this scheme
What All Documents Are Required For HSVP?
The following documents are required for HSVP:
- Self-attested pan card copies
- Bylaws certified copies
- Cooperative society’s resolution certified copies
- Passport size photograph
Steps To Apply For HSVP Plots Online
To apply online, just follow these below mentioned simple steps:
Step 1: Login to HSVP or HUDA website
Step 2: Now, select HUDA Plot Scheme 2020-21
Step 3: Then, you will fill in the registration form
Step 4: Submit all the required documents
Step 5: Pay the applicable fee and note the application number for future reference
In case if the applicant wins the lottery – 25% of the plot cost should be paid within 30 days of registration and the remaining amount should be paid within 180 days.
The plots will be allocated on the basis of the bidding process. Further, the results of the HSVP scheme will be published in the newspaper. Along with that, the respective builder also informs the allottee and one can also check on the HSVP website.
Please Note: If a person loses the acknowledgment copy, he/she can approach the builder. But a duplicate copy will not be issued.
What Are The Terms And Conditions Of The HSVP Scheme?
There are some of the terms and conditions for HSVP Scheme such as:
- One can become a member of a maximum of 5 co-operative society
- Membership of one society can be retained after allotment
- Can own only one flat or share in the society
